Hello to all, most all of you who are receiving this spam message for the first time most likely know or have met me at one time or another. Two years ago, I bought my first camera with plans of documenting the early years of my daughter, as she was going to be born in about a month. During that last month of trying to keep sane with an incredibly uncomfortable pregnant wife, I delved deeply into the art of photography. I bought several books, spent countless hours researching and watching videos on the web, and spent every free minute I had snapping photos, and learning the editing process. I was so hungry for my new found passion, that I just could not wait until that little bundle of joy, or I mean sleepless nights, was to join us. Since that wonderful day, like every parent out there, my life was turned upside down, and in a most amazing way.
I have spent the last two years documenting the daily life of our daughter Bailey, who has just one freckle on her body! When she's not jumping in and out of my photos, I spend time photographing friends, family, and nature. I have a passion for photographing "emotion" which is kind of like capturing a photo of a butterfly on a finger, doesn't happen all the time. I enjoy the raw photos of people hard at work, and showing it with their face and body language. I also really enjoy capturing that smile on a child's face when they aren't asked to smile.
Every week I am gaining more and more experience. I have learned so much from family shoots, parties, work functions, and many other events. With the push from friends and family, I have decided to start this blog as a way to showcase some of the photos I have been so fortunate to capture!
